Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall wed!

BIG NEWS! HUMPHREY BOGART AND LAUREN BACALL WED!

After months of courtship the couple has finally gone public with their relationship. Bogie is a friendly outgoing, gorgeous cat. He adores people, and is always seeking a warm lap. Bacall is a bit more shy. She is semi-feral and needs patience and attention to transition to the spotlight. Both are FIV positive, but are doing well. While FIV sounds very scary, it actually is not a death sentence. They can live long healthy lives with proper care. Bogie is on daily medication and has gained weight (maybe a tad too much) and healed from all of his past infections. Bacall is asymptomatic. They are wonderful kitties and need just the right atmosphere to flourish. They are indoor only and must be adopted as the loving couple they are!

For more info on FIV: http://cats.about.com/cs/healthissues/a/fiv_in_cats.htm

Here's Bette Davis! She's come a long way baby!

Hello fans! I am a beautiful, female, siamese mix. I am a bit older, probably 13 or so, but if you tell anyone I will deny it. I was found in the middle of the street, with a huge gash in my head weighing only 4lbs. I went to the vet immediately and had surgery to sew up my head and was put on medication for infection and hyperthyroidism. I am doing much better now. My head is healing slowly, but I will need to be on medication twice a day forever. I am very loving, I even purr when hot compresses are put on my forhead. I am a special kitty and I need a special home. Please will you take me?

Introducing Gorgeous Gracie Allen

Hi! My name is Gracie Allen and I was first found under an abandoned house where I was nursing my litter of four. My kittens have been adopted and now I'm all alone. I was rescued from the shelter just days before I was to be euthanized. I'm only about one year old and even though I had it very rough for awhile, I'm very healthy and playful. I have had all my shots and will not be having any more kittens. I love people and I am very, very gentle. I am a truly docile, loving cat and would be a great addition to your home. I am a real lap cat. I purr loudly and love to be petted!

These Feline Legends Still Need Homes

Humphrey Bogart is still the same suave, handsome, playful and
loving cats he has been. He needs a home that is indoor only. Gets along great with other cats (and the ladies really seem to like him)!

He is FIV but doing great!

Lauren Bacall adores Bogie. She is the mother of the Little Rascals. Now that all of the kittens have found homes, it is time for Bacall to find one as well. She is young, playful, semi-feral and needs help learning trust people. Please
help with a cage free, loving home.

Amos is a blue point Siamese. He is 12 yrs young, playful,
affectionate, healthy, great personality. Absolutely
gorgeous!

Introducing Buster Keaton

Buster is a big boy! Real Big! He is absolutely gorgeous and completely loving. He is ready for a good home.
Buster was an "office cat" at the Ambassador Hotel and passed the days sitting on employees' laps while they worked away on their computers. He is truly a great cat and would be a joy for any home.

Please let us know if you would like to meet Buster in person.

What a difference two months makes! Bogie is doing great! He is healthy, responding well to his medication and friendlier than ever! He is a real house cat. April 1st Update

More than 30 cats have been removed from the Ambassador Hotel property!
While the in-home adoptions have been reported on this site, we have also been
able to relocate or find permanent housing for another ten cats.
There are seventeen cats left for adoption!
Some are people friendly and ready to come home with you.
Others would make a great addition to your backyard.
There are so many ways for you to help the cats.

Please contact us for more information.

Our newest stars....

Here's looking at you,Humphrey Bogart.

We initially thought that Bogie was feral but
he soon revealed that he is a people friendly house cat.
He is really winning our hearts. He is very affectionate and tame.
Unfortunately, Bogie tested positive for FIV.
He can still live a long and loving life.
Contact us with questions regarding his condition.
We would love to find the right home for Bogie.

Charlie Chaplin is very unique.

Charlie lived indoors at the Ambassador and was a favorite of the office staff.
Charlie has special needs as he only has half a tongue.
He needs regular brushing since he is unable to completely clean himself.
Chaplin is people friendly and available for adoption!
He is being fostered by the great people at Animal Alliance.

Fred Astaire is quite the looker.

Around here we call him Fred-Does-Stare: He finds people fascinating.
Unfortunately, Fred also tested positive for FIV.
He too can live a long and loving life.
Contact us with questions regarding his condition.
Do you have a Ginger Rogers in search of her Fred?

Marylin Monroe is ready for a break.

Much like her namesake Marylin lives life to the fullest.
Our Marylin is ready to settle down and would love to
lay by the pool in your Hollywood Hills home.

Adoptive parents are a girls best friend!

They don't get much cuter than Shirley Temple.

Shirley is young and loving. She is an ideal cat for almost any home.
Help her find her "Good Ship Lollipop."

Dean Martin was adopted today!

Dean Martin was adopted today and will be begining his new life in Studio City.
We have heard from Joey Bishop's new home that he is doing well.
Ava Gardner has been acting like a bit of a diva and has been hard to place.
Despite her good looks and outgoing personality she doesn't know how to treat her fans.
We are still trying to find her a good home.

Introducing Ava Gardner.

Ava is amazing and in great shape. She has a beautiful coat and sparkling eyes.
She is super friendly and loving. She is between 3 and 4 years old.
She is completely domesticated and tame. Please help us find her a special home.

Say hello to Danny Kaye.

We picked Danny up from the Ambassador on Sunday.
He was very skinny and covered in fleas.
We are feeding him well and cleaning him up. He is looking better already!
Danny is very tame. He loves to be petted and brushed.
He is going to make a great lap cat !. Let's find him a good home.

Here are Dean Martin and Joey Bishop

Dean Martin was dumped at the Hotel last year. He's fixed.
He's pretty big and very sweet and talkative once he knows your the source of food.
He's destined to be a lap cat one day.

JoeyBishop is less than a year old.
Unfortunately his brothers didn't make it.
He needs some new friends.
He's ferral but, if we can get him a home with lots of attention soon, he'll be a nice cat.
Peggy who feeds him everyday says he lets her scratch his head all the time.

Frank and Sammy

The first up for adoption are Sammy Davis Jr and Frank Sinatra.
Sammy Davis Jr is very friendly, but Frank Sinatra is a bit more shy
and usually will only let you touch him when he's being fed
or when he's with Sammy Davis Jr.
They are inseparable, so a home that would take both is ideal.
I'm not sure Frank Sinatra would actually make it without his Sammy Davis Jr.
they are such close friends.

They're both healthy and maybe 5-6 years old.
Sammy Davis Jr is older, or at least acts older.
The only medical concern is Sammy Davis Jr is missing his left canine tooth,
but that's not really and problem and doesn't effect him eating.
